The camper van has quite a timeline/ family history and seems to have accumulated many names on the way: ‘Splitty’ 1960s split screen bus, Kombi (south African), Kombiwagen (German meaning for ‘combination car’, ‘Bay’ (1970s), T25 (also known as T3) T4 and today’s T5. Bullibarn has been known to have all of these models in stock. Bulli is German for camper van
Our biggest seller is the VW Bay window camper van, also known as a Type II or T2. Most of our for sale stock have been imported from the dry state of California so they may initially look a little sun bleached, worn and tatty but look past that as the chassis will be what you would love to see on a vehicle over 30 years old. Buying this way ensures you spend your money on nicer things than welding and secures your purchase as an investment.
We specialise in German Westfalia models, appreciating the functionality and quality of this type of interior. If you purchase an imported camper van from us, all documentation required for registration in the UK is provided to you. The cost of registration is in the region of £50 and takes approximately 3 days. We are happy to assist you with the registration process. Campers are sold with full MOT and service.
Stock changes on an almost weekly basis so please do let us know if you are looking for something we have not got in stock.
We are happy to provide you with honest advice regarding repairs and restoration work. Les is happy to work to your budget, providing you with realistic goals and expectations and giving you the opportunity to be in control and part of the process.
